NEWTON, MA (10/25/2012)(readMedia)-- Mount Ida College School of Design is pleased to announce that interior design student and Stow resident Stephanie Lopilato '14 won second place recently in the Student Design Competition at the Interior Design Career Day 2012 at the Boston Design Center. The competition provided college students in the Boston area the opportunity to compete and present cutting-edge design solutions.

Lopilato's commercial design project focused on solving common design issues that professionals face when selling spaces. Cheering her on at the competition was Professor Courtnay Wallace. The School of Design at Mount Ida offers students many opportunities to gain hands-on working experience in a competitive environment.
