Iowa City Farm Exhibits Top Boar in Iowa State Fair Duroc Show

DES MOINES, IA (08/28/2017) (readMedia)-- The Rourke Sisters of Iowa City exhibited the Grand Champion Boar in the Duroc Swine show judged August 18 at the 2017 Iowa State Fair.

Dcm Hamps & Durocs of Marion exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Boar.

Cristen C. Clark of Runnells took home the Grand Champion Gilt banner, while Stewarts Duroc Farm of Waverly won Reserve Grand Champion Gilt honors.

Premier Exhibitor honors went to the Warrick Brothers of Prairie City. The Premier Exhibitor award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.
