Iowa State Fair New Event Series: Fair After Dark

DES MOINES, IA (05/01/2018) (readMedia)-- In 2018, the Iowa State Fair is launching a new exclusive behind the scenes event series for Fairgoers over 21 called, Fair After Dark. The inaugural year will feature two special Fair After Dark events: Animals After Dark in the Animal Learning Center and Agriculture After Dark in the Agriculture Building.

Animals After Dark: Friday, August 10

9:00-11:00 p.m.

Tickets: $20

Get up close and personal with the Fair's newest and cutest baby animals. Animals After Dark lets you ask your best agriculture related questions while enjoying a behind the scenes experience with a few drinks of choice.

Agriculture After Dark: Thursday, August 16

9:00-11:00 p.m.

Tickets: $20

Gain access to the infamous Butter Cow cooler, create colorful works of floral art and get close to Iowa's bee industry. Agriculture After Dark is a world tour of agriculture experienced with your friends and favorite brews.
