Iowa State University Crops Team takes first in two national contests

The Iowa State University Crops Team won first place at the American Royal crops contest in Kansas City on November 16 and again at the National Collegiate Crops contest in Ames, IA on November 19. The last time Iowa State won both contests in the same year was 1988. These contests represent the national finals of collegiate crops competition for the year. This contest involves plant and seed identification, grain grading and analysis of seed samples.
