Iowa State University students serve as Peer Mentors in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences

Over 150 upper class students will be serving as Peer Mentors in the more than 20 Iowa State University Learning Communities with ties to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) for the 2017-2018 academic year. Mentors help new students in the college make the transition to life at Iowa State. These selected Peer Mentors are often involved with organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities. Iowa State's more than 80 learning communities have served over 56,000 students. Learn more about learning communities at www.lc.iastate.edu.
