Isaac Daniel Freedman enrolls at Colgate University
HAMILTON, NY (10/25/2010)(readMedia)-- Isaac Daniel Freedman, of Newton, MA, son of Mr. Jay L. Freedman and Ms. Stephanie R. Elkind, is among the 853 students who entered Colgate University with the Class of 2014 in late August. The class, selected from an applicant pool of almost 7,900 students, is the most diverse to enroll at Colgate.
Freedman is a graduate of Newton South High School.
Colgate, a highly selective, four-year private liberal arts college, enrolls some 2,900 undergraduate students from 48 states and 36 nations. The university offers 51 majors, and all students take courses through the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. More than 60 percent of students study off campus, choosing from more than 20 faculty-led programs, both international and domestic.
