Isabel May Interns with Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital

Isabel May, a senior health sciences major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.

A resident of Harvest, Alabama, May works under the Chief Nursing Officer by verifying proper patient safety implementations, working in the nursing department, performing audits and analyzing data regarding the health of former patients.

"The experience that I have received at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital has been a valuable experience for me and my growth professionally and academically," said May. "It is helpful to observe the day-to-day operations of a hospital and to take part in those activities while working with the chief nursing officer. My experience has been beneficial in planning for my future career."
