Israeli delegation, Illinois National Guard Soldiers to hold women's history panel

SPRINGFIELD, IL (03/12/2015)(readMedia)-- The Illinois National Guard's first female general officer, Brig. Gen. Alicia Tate-Nadeau, of Chicago, Illinois, will give a presentation of the evolution of women in the military in honor of Women's History Month at the Illinois State Military Museum in Springfield on Friday, March 13 at 2p.m. Following Tate-Nadeau's presentation is a panel discussion of women in leadership positions. The panel will include Illinois National Guard Soldiers and five Israeli women who are guests of Springfield's Commission on International Visitors.

WHAT:

• To mark Women’s History Month, Brig. Gen. Alicia Tate-Nadeau, the first female general officer in the Illinois National Guard, will give a presentation of the evolution of women in the military.
