JCRC-NY Celebrates Jewish American and AAPI Heritage Months at 3rd Annual Shalom Dragon Family Festival
JCRC-NY will join Council Member Susan Zhuang, UJA-Federation of New York, and the JCH of Bensonhurst for a fun-filled day uplifting both communities.
BENSONHURST, NY (05/15/2026) (readMedia)-- On Sunday, JCRC-NY, Council Member Susan Zhuang, the JCH of Bensonhurst, and UJA-Federation of New York will host the third annual Shalom Dragon Family Festival for Jewish American Heritage Month and Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. The street fair will uplift the cultural traditions of both communities, including Jewish and AAPI music, food, and dance, and will be jam-packed with kid-friendly activities.
Jewish and AAPI New Yorkers have deep roots in and are a vital part of the diverse fabric of our city. The event is a wonderful celebration of the shared heritage, cultural richness, and continued solidarity between these communities.
