JMU congratulates participants in Dukes Making a Difference

More than 140 students, many of them new to JMU, participated this August in DMAD: Dukes Making a Difference, to volunteer with nonprofit agencies in the Harrisonburg area. The program gives students an opportunity to meet other service-minded Dukes, to learn about Harrisonburg's most pressing social issues and to interact with individuals and organizations making the Harrisonburg community a better place for all residents.
