JMU places third in national wind energy competiton

James Madison University is proud to recognize its 2022 Collegiate Wind Competition Team for placing third overall in this year's competition.

The 2022 CWC focused on siting, outreach and development challenges associated with fixed-bottom offshore wind energy projects. JMU was one of 12 teams that developed project plans, collaborated with industry experts and engaged with their local communities.
