Jenny Ley to perform in Huntington University's junior/senior recital

HUNTINGTON, IN (02/12/2013)(readMedia)-- The Huntington University Music Department will present a combined junior/senior recital by soprano Brittany Blazier and soprano Jenny Ley at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22. This free recital will be held in the Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts on campus.

Blazier is a junior choral music education major from Ossian, Ind. Her parents are Joseph and Brenda Blazier. She attended Norwell High School before coming to HU.

Ley is a senior Bachelor of Arts in music major from Ossian, Ind. Her parents are Bruce and Teresa Ley. She also attended Norwell High School.

They both have studied voice with Joni Killian since attending HU. They will be performing selections from composers such as Mozart, Vivaldi, Wolf, Fauré, Bizet, Hoiby and Douglas Moore.
