Jeromesville Resident Completes Summer Internship

ASHLAND, OH (09/17/2013)(readMedia)--  ASHLAND, Ohio – Jeromesville resident Kimberly Habegger, who is a senior marketing major at Ashland University, interned with City of Mansfield- Community Development.

Habegger described the office as a public office that assists the city's neighborhoods for the good of the inhabitants. Her duties included updating housing databases, organizing business files, completing rehab and demolition tasks, and researching material.

She stated that her internship taught her that she is capable of more than what she was aware of.

Habegger stated that her classes at Ashland University gave her the business knowledge to understand business language, read financial statements, use software, and adapt to a business atmosphere.

Her internship has emphasized the importance of her knowledge from Ashland University's Business School by giving her a better understanding and personal experience of the true business world.

After graduation, Habegger plans to attend grad school to earn her MBA.

Habegger is a 2010 graduate of Hillsdale High School. She is the daughter of Brenda Beach & Jeff Habegger.
