Jessica Baniewicz of Plano honored for achievements in Christian studies

BROWNWOOD , TX (03/08/2013)(readMedia)-- Jessica Baniewicz of Plano, a student in Howard Payne University's School of Christian Studies, was honored as a Currie-Strickland Scholar in Christian Ethics and Theology during the Currie-Strickland Distinguished Lectures in Christian Ethics held recently on the HPU campus. Jessica is a a senior cross-cultural studies and Spanish major.

"The faculty of the School of Christian Studies honored Jessica, among our many hard-working and gifted students, based on our evaluation of her achievement in her courses and the ways in which she has excelled in thinking in, and related to, the fields of Christian ethics and theology," said Dr. Derek Hatch, assistant professor of Christian studies.
