Jessica Bouloutian Receives Greek Council Scholarship
MILLERSVILLE, PA (05/07/2013)(readMedia)-- Jessica A. Bouloutian, of New Hope, Pa., has been selected to receive The Greek Council Award. Bouloutian will graduate from New Hope-Solebury High School and attend Millersville University of Pennsylvania this fall to study biology and animal behavior.
The Greek Council Award recipient is awarded in the amount of $878. It is an award to recognize a recipient's demonstrated academic excellence in high school while maintaining an extensive involvement in extra-curricular activities.
Bouloutian is also the recipient of a $1,000 MEDAL Scholarship. She was a member of the band throughout high school and a member of the high school orchestra. She has been a volunteer at Last Chance Ranch for rescued animals, sewed clothing for children in need, assisted at a food pantry and donated her hair to Locks of Love. She held part-time jobs, providing child care and pet care for neighbors while in high school and tutored elementary aged children.
