Jessica M. Chase of Randolph, N.Y., Named Alden Scholar at Allegheny College

MEADVILLE, PA (03/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Jessica M. Chase, daughter of Stanley Chase and Bethany Fox of Randolph, N.Y., and Kathleen Chase of Littleton, Colo., was recently named an Alden Scholar at Allegheny College. A graduate of Randolph Central School, Chase is a sophomore at Allegheny.

Alden Scholar awards are presented to students who maintained a grade point average of 3.2 or higher during the preceding academic year. The awards are named in honor of the Reverend Timothy Alden, Jr., who founded the college in 1815.

The 32nd oldest college in the nation, Allegheny College will celebrate its bicentennial in 2015.
