Jezreel International And Victory Church Sending Aid

Albany, NY, Sept.5th, 2016 – Jezreel International, the Capital District's leader in international humanitarian aid is preparing a tractor trailer loaded with necessities for the families who were devastated by the recent floods in Louisiana. Over 100,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed in the Baton Rouge region many of which do not have flood insurance.

"For many years, Jezreel International has quietly been meeting the needs of people all around the world who have suffered greatly due to floods, fire and other natural disasters. When we learned about the need in Louisiana it was only a matter of pooling our resources together to get relief supplies to those who need it most," said Jim Pratt, General Manager, Jezreel International. "We are fortunate to have the resources and contacts that we can load a truck with supplies such as furniture including beds, paper products, generators, washing machines, and other items needed to help bring back some form of normalcy for the many families."

"We have the product and the shipping company, now all we need is the funding to cover the costs involved in making this relief effort possible," continues Pratt. "We are asking the capital region community to help us make this delivery possible by donating funds to cover the cost of trucking to the Baton Rouge area."

This shipment is expected to leave the capital region later this week and be well on its way to making a difference in the lives of so many who right now just need to know we stand behind them and are thinking of them. Jezreel International is prepared to make the shipments, however it would be a great help if members of the capital region contributed to help offset the shipping cost.

Jezreel International is a not-for-profit organization and has shipped millions of dollars of desperately needed aid to over 40 nations. In addition, Jezreel also did a number of shipments during Super Storm Sandy, Irene and Katrina.
