Jillian Strang's Play Premiers at Keene State College

KEENE, NH (02/09/2011)(readMedia)-- Keene State College student Jillian Strang of New Fairfield, CT has written a performance piece titled Memories are What?, an ensemble comedy that follows a group of high school students struggling to manage their various neuroses in an age where cell phones and the internet have dramatically reshaped traditional methods of human communication.

Keene State's Theatre department has selected four student-written works in the Premiere Performance series, which offers an insightful perspective on a variety of themes and settings. Strang's Memories are What? will be performed on February 11 and 12. Performances will take place throughout February and March at 7:30 p.m. in the Night Owl Cafe, located in the KSC Student Center.

Keene State College, a member of the University System of New Hampshire, is New Hampshire's public liberal arts college. KSC offers 35 programs of study as well as individualized majors, service learning, and national and international exchanges. The campus, with 21st-century technology housed in traditional ivy covered brick buildings, is located in the Monadnock Region of southwestern New Hampshire.
