Joe Stern to Direct During New Plays Festival while Serving as Stage Manager for Bat Boy: the Musical

MILTON , MA (02/25/2011)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce that Suffern resident Joe Stern, son of David Stern, will be directing an original one act play, Sex and Education, written by Curry College alumna Cate Buckley, in Curry Theatre's Fifth Annual New Plays Festival.
Joe is a 2007 graduate of Suffern High School. Currently a senior majoring in Communication, Joe's theatre credits include director of Love Potion and stage manager for Death of a Salesman. Joe is also the stage manager for Curry's upcoming production Bat Boy: the Musical coming to the stage in April. Joe currently serves on Curry Theatre's Supervisory Board as the Stage Manager.
The Fifth Annual New Plays Festival, showcasing original student 5-10 minute one act plays, will run Saturday, March 5 through Monday, March 7 at 7:30 pm in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $5 and may be reserved at 617 333 2259 (Option 2).
Curry College is a 131-year old, private, four-year, liberal arts institution located on 135 acres in Milton, MA.
