NASHVILLE TN (05/13/2013)(readMedia)-- The Middle TN Fight for Air Walk will take place at Public Square Park in downtown Nashville to support the American Lung Association. Tennessee includes four cities that are in the top 25 worst cities for asthma in the country. Individuals and teams will walk to help fund lung health research, education and advocacy.

| WHAT: | The American Lung Association’s seventh annual Middle TN Fight For Air Walk presented by OPTUM Complex Population Management.
Teams and individuals will walk the Fight For Air 5K route on May 18, 2013 to support the American Lung Association’s research, education and advocacy programs in Tennessee. There will be a shortened route available as well. Participants who join the Walk will have the opportunity to meet others in the community, visit a variety of educational booths, enjoy snacks all morning, and listen to live music, all while supporting a great cause. In addition, there will be a Kid’s Zone, featuring fun activities for children of all ages. Early morning music will be provided by a DJ and the live concert following the walk will feature several rising stars from the Nashville music scene - Tamaray, Lindsey Bruce and Mary Grace.
