Joselin Mane, Creator of BostonTweetUp and MegaTweetUp, Joins 451 Marketing as a Chief Social Media Strategist

Mane brings more than twenty years of experience in computer technology, and more than eight years of experience in search engine optimization, social media marketing and business development to his new role. Mane will specialize in developing and managing various social media marketing campaigns.

Mane is an award-winning social media strategist with experience in a variety of areas including consumer, technology and business to business. At 451 Marketing, Mane will be responsible for developing and managing strategic communication campaigns as well as integrating social media, and search marketing for 451 Marketing's growing list of clients. Additionally, Mane will advise 451 Marketing's public relations clients on how to leverage social media to accomplish business objectives.

Previously, Mane founded LITBeL Consulting, a new media marketing company that helped businesses leverage technology to scale business growth. There, Mane specialized in a variety of consulting services, including search engine optimization, copywriting, website design, branding packages, and social networking. Before founding LITBel Consulting, Mane worked in a variety of positions, including an e-learning evangelist, a member of an exclusive team that worked with the firm's most visible clients, and a project manager at IBM. Mane was selected by management to join an exclusive, nine-month management program that included travel throughout the United States as well as in countries in Europe, South America and Asia. Additionally, Mane was highlighted in a full page advertisement for the work he did to contribute to Herman Miller saving over 1 million dollars.

In 2009, Mane co-founded Latinos in Social Media (LATISM), the largest community of Latinos involved with social media. Recently, Mane founded BostonTweetUp.com, an event planning and promotional service that provides people with a central resource to learn about Tweetups, new media events, and technology events in the Boston area. Subsequently, he founded MegaTweetUp, an annual networking event of about 400 attendees. The biggest event of its kind, it is designed to bring different niches that have an affinity toward social media together to network.

A first generation Dominican American, Mane holds a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from Northeastern University. He currently resides in Boston, Mass.
