Joseph Pelletier of Westport, Mass. Honored at Quinnipiac University Awards Ceremony

HAMDEN, CT (06/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Joseph D. Pelletier of Westport, Mass. received the Outstanding Senior Award at Quinnipiac University's 28th Annual Senior Awards Ceremony on April 30. The award recognizes seniors who have distinguished themselves by their service, dedication and contributions to Quinnipiac.

Pelletier was also the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement in Print Journalism. This award is presented to a graduating senior from the print journalism program who has shown academic achievement, made significant contributions to the program, campus life and/or shown excellent leadership qualities on campus.

Pelletier received a Bachlor of Arts in journalism during Quinnipiac University's 80th Undergraduate Commencement Exercises on May 22.
