Joy Gedeon With Her Crystal Bowls To Appear at Historical Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton

STAUNTON, VA (09/29/2011)(readMedia)-- The Staunton Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the next performer for the Musical Enlightenment Series will be Joy Gedeon. Joy will use her voice along with crystal bowls and Chinese wind gongs to relax the listener on Wednesday, October 5th at the Bandstand in Gypsy Hill Park from 6-8pm. Joy is the third act in a four part series being offered by the Staunton Parks and Recreation Department during their Awakening Consciousness Musical Enlightenment Series.

Joy creates healing energies by tapping into the different chakras with tones created using her voice, crystal bowls, Tibetan Bowls, Chinese wind gongs and Moses Code Tuning Forks. These healing energies seek to clear old negative thoughts, energies and memories that hold the individual back from realizing their full potential. This particular performance is meditative in nature and geared for the individual who seeks respite and asylum from constant stimuli and stress. For a mind clearing experience come out to Gypsy Hill Park on Wednesday, October 5th. Be sure to bring a blanket, chair or Yoga mat to ensure personal comfort.

The concert is free and begins at 6pm.
