STANDISH, ME (05/04/2012)(readMedia)-- Julia Sylvia of Little Compton, R.I., received the Ina G. Bean Award at Saint Joseph's College, given to a junior for scholarly and faithful pursuit of knowledge; commitment to the development/promotion/ advancement of nursing as a profession; and compassionate sensitivity to all in need. Sylvia is a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society.
