ST. LOUIS, MO (06/27/2012)(readMedia)-- Julie Beehler of Kodiak, Alaska, was selected for a position in Missouri Baptist University's Student Activities Council as the chair of Homecoming and Spring Fling events. This position involves long-term planning for week-long Homecoming and Spring Fling activities and events, conducting committee meetings, and coordinating with administration and campus organizations.
Beehler will enter the Fall 2012 semester at MBU as a sophomore human services major. In addition to Student Activities, Beehler is involved with campus ministries and choir at MBU. She serves at her home church in youth ministries and is participating in Relay for Life this summer.
Beehler is a graduate of Kodiak High School and a transfer from University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
