KSC Student Meagan Blais Presents at COPLAC Undergraduate Research Conference

KEENE, NH (11/09/2010)(readMedia)-- Keene State College students from a variety of disciplines joined more than 70 student researchers and their faculty mentors to present original research and creative projects at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts on October 1-2 for the COPLAC Northeast Regional Undergraduate Research Conference.

Meagan Blais of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, presented: Holocaust and Genocide Studies - "What's at Stake?"

Students at COPLAC institutions have the opportunity to present the results of their undergraduate research at regional conferences where they can meet and discuss their work with peers and faculty members. Undergraduate research projects span the disciplines and afford students the prospect of intellectual engagement beyond the formal classroom setting.

Many students at COPLAC continue their work at the graduate level, having been prepared for the world of scholarly engagement through a COPLAC commitment to hands-on research.
