Kalb named 2018-2019 Intern for ISU's Office of Sustainability

Heidi Kalb (Aurora, IA) has been named as a 2018-2019 Strategic Initiatives Intern for Iowa State University's Office of Sustainability. Heidi has been an intern with the Live Green! Initiative through Iowa State University's Office of Sustainability since 2017. Starting as a Campus and Community Engagement Intern, she was responsible for planning, organizing and enlisting volunteers for five annual campus-wide sustainability events, focused on educating about and engaging and empowering students, faculty and staff in ISU's Live Green! Initiative and sustainable living. This year Heidi is dedicated to planning, marketing and implementing monthly campaigns (including social media post, blog features, informational posters and displays, multi-faceted marketing components and a uniquely tailored and focused campus and community events) highlighting unique areas of sustainability accomplishment in connection with the 10 year anniversary celebration of ISU's Live Green Initiative. As noted by Merry Rankin, Director of Sustainability for Iowa State University, "We are so fortunate to have Heidi returning to our team for a second year and sharing her social media expertise, project design skills and creativity as well as her dedicated passion for a sustainable future."
