Karl Ahrendsen and Molly Urness Honored at Buena Vista University

STORM LAKE, IA (06/17/2013)(readMedia)-- Both Karl Ahrendsen and Molly Urness of Clarion were recently honored at Buena Vista University's (BVU) student recognition event. Ahrendsen is a senior physics and computational science-math major, and Urness is a recent graduate who majored in biology.
Ahrendsen and Urness were both named to Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, based on outstanding scholastic, campus and community activities.
Urness was inducted into Alpha Chi, a national honor society recognizing scholarship in all disciplines, promoting academic achievement and encouraging its members to continue their lives as scholars. Membership is restricted to ten percent of the senior class having a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and five percent of the junior class having a cumulative grade point average of 3.65 or higher.
