Karla Stouse of Arcadia Named VP of Harlaxton Society Board of Directors
EVANSVILLE, IN (01/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Arcadia resident Karla Stouse has been named vice president of the Harlaxton Society Board of Directors at the University of Evansville. Stouse, who earned a bachelor's degree from the University in 1980 and a master's degree in 1984, is a senior lecturer in English at Indiana University Kokomo.
The Harlaxton Society is the alumni organization for Harlaxton College, the British campus of the University of Evansville near Grantham, England. Its main purposes are to keep its members informed about Harlaxton College and to promote and support Harlaxton College, its mission, and current students. The Harlaxton Society raises funds to provide scholarships for students studying at Harlaxton College.
Leadership of the Harlaxton Society is vested in the Harlaxton Society Board of Directors. The board is comprised of 20 at-large members, many of whom are Harlaxton and UE alumni and/or community leaders.
