Karyn Martin Named Account Director at 451 Marketing

BOSTON, MA (07/14/2010)(readMedia)-- 451 Marketing Partner Thomas Lee today announced that Karyn Martin joined the 451 Marketing team as a new account director. Martin brings more than nine years of experience in public relations, marketing, creative event concept development and strategic planning to her new role, and will specialize in developing and managing various integrated public relations campaigns.

Martin is an award-winning public relations practitioner with public relations experience in a variety of areas including consumer, technology and business to business. At 451, Martin will be responsible for developing strategic communication campaigns as well as integrating PR 2.0 and SEO/PR techniques for the company's growing list of public relations clients.

Previously, Martin worked at Emerge PR for five years as an account director, an account manager and as a senior account executive. There, she leveraged her public relations expertise as well as her social media and SEO knowledge to drive publicity for clients, including InnoCentive, CardScan, Harte-Hanks, Information Builders, CSG Systems and Destination Cellars.

Prior to joining Emerge PR, Martin served as an account executive at Marenghi Communications. There, Martin supported public relations activities for key technology clients. She developed and refined tactical skills such as executing pitch campaigns and mastering awards and speaking programs. Prior to joining Marenghi Communications, Martin was an account executive at Fendler Communications for more than three years. There, she was responsible for all aspects of executing a successful public relations plan for national accounts in the travel goods and outdoor industries.

A native of Dedham, Mass., Martin is a summa cum laude graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She currently resides in West Roxbury, Mass.
