Katie Schmidt Announces Chicago for the Animals Benefit
Proceeds to benefit the National Wildlife Federation's Gulf Restoration Fund
BOSTON, MA (08/12/2010)(readMedia)-- Katie Schmidt today announced that the Chicago For the Animals fundraiser, benefiting the National Wildlife Federation's Gulf Restoration Fund, will take place on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Murphy's Bleachers in Chicago, IL.
"The animals affected by the disastrous oil spill have been at the forefront of many people's minds," said Schmidt. "I am excited to announce this event and donate to such a great cause. For just twenty-five dollars each, attendees will be helping save the lives of defenseless animals that have been harmed by the oil spill."

One hundred percent of the profits from the ticket sales will be donated to the National Wildlife Federation's Gulf Oil Spill Restoration Fund. The ticket price includes beverages, appetizers and a chance to win prizes from the sponsors.
