Keanu H. Rodriguez selected as a Posse Scholar at Union College
SCHENECTADY, NY (01/18/2013)(readMedia)-- Keanu H. Rodriguez of Revere, MA, has been selected as a Posse Scholar at Union College in Schenectady, NY.
The Posse Scholar program identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential. Union College is one of Posse's nearly 40 partner colleges and universities, each of which award four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarships to groups of 10 students – or Posses – annually.
Rodriguez, who attends Revere High School, was chosen after a rigorous selection process. Ranked in the top 10 percent of his class, he consistently challenges himself, taking 14 honors and six AP courses. During his high school career, Rodriguez played football and is an active member of the baseball team. While Rodriguez is undecided about what he wants to study at Union College, he is eager to be involved in student government.
