The award recognizes business students who demonstrate excellence both in and out of the classroom, including leadership roles on campus and/or significant community service.

Levine works at Ernst & Young, LLP, in Iselin, N.J., in assurance services as an accountant/auditor. He earned the rare distinction of being inducted into the international honor society Beta Gamma Sigma as both an undergraduate and MBA student.

"It was a really nice way to finish up my career at Quinnipiac because I had been there so long. It was a really enjoyable five years, so it was nice to know that my work was appreciated," Levine said.

Levine is the past president of the Accounting Society at Quinnipiac. He was also named a 2009 School of Business Charter Oak Society Scholar and received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in 2010.

The Business Leader Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding business people who have made significant contributions to their business and industry through leadership. The program has educated and motivated students by presenting honorees, who can share their experiences, to discuss their careers and offer advice. All proceeds from the event benefited the School of Business' Endowed Scholarship Fund. Scholarships from this fund are awarded to full-time School of Business junior and senior students with demonstrated financial need.
