Kelly joins Retail Council as executive assistant and office manager

ALBANY, NY (01/23/2012)(readMedia)-- The Retail Council of New York State announced today that Lori Kelly has joined the association as executive assistant and office manager.

Ms. Kelly will be the primary administrative assistant to the president and chief executive officer and other Council managers as needed. She will also serve as the staff liaison to the Council's board of directors, executive committee and other internal committees and will oversee the general management of the Council's facility and service providers.

Previously, Ms. Kelly held the position of director and supervisor with the Capital District YMCA – Schenectady/Guilderland. She has also served as senior claims examiner for RMSCO, Inc. in Albany, N.Y.

"Lori has more than 10 years of hands on experience in customer service and administration which makes her a perfect fit to provide Retail Council members with the highest level of service every day," said Retail Council President and Chief Executive Officer James R. Sherin. "Her exceptional organizational skills will allow other Council staff members to focus on enhancing the already impressive programs and benefits we offer our members."

Ms. Kelly holds a bachelor's degree in art education from The College of St. Rose and a master's degree in instructional technology from American Intercontinental University Online. She lives in Rotterdam, N.Y. with her husband and two sons.
