Kelsey Apperson of McConnelsville published as featured writer in Muskingum University literary magazine

NEW CONCORD, OH (05/03/2013)(readMedia)-- Muskingum University student Kelsey Apperson of McConnelsville has been published as the featured writer in First Circle, the university's annual literary magazine.

Apperson published two poems, titled Confessions of the Fir and Little Hands, as well as a work of fiction titled Dinner for One. She is an English and digital media design major at Muskingum.

First Circle is published annually by the Department of English at Muskingum University and includes literary and artistic work by the students, faculty and staff. Acceptance to the magazine is competitive, and anonymous submissions are judged by a panel of editors and members of the campus community. The faculty advisor of the magazine is Associate Professor of English Dr. Jane Varley.
