Kenneth Kochenour named to York College of PA board

YORK, PA (01/04/2011)(readMedia)-- York College of Pennsylvania recently elected Kenneth Kochenour of Gladwyne to its board of trustees.
Kochenour is a 1974 graduate of York College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/law enforcement. He is the founder, CEO and president of Philadelphia-based GF Management, a 20-year-old hospitality ownership and management company. Kochenour started GF Management as a hospitality management company to specialize in underperforming assets and "workout" scenarios in the hospitality industry, including hotels, catering facilities, golf courses and other related hospitality assets. GF Management's current portfolio of managed and owned hospitality assets consists of more than 100 properties across the United States, and varies across the spectrum of brands including Hilton, Starwood, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Marriott and more.
In addition to his real estate career, Kochenour is very active with the Jaws Youth Fund, an organization founded by Ron Jaworski, his family, and the United Way of Camden County whose goal is to support youth programs that benefit at-risk children. He has been active in the life of York College, as a regular host of alumni events at his hotels, as well as a participant in the alumni golf outing held at York's Honey Run Golf Club, one of GF's owned golf courses. In May 2008, Kochenour was awarded the Alumni Achievement Award.
