Keon Williams Named Northeast-10 Player of the Week
PLEASANTVILLE, NY (02/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Keon Williams (Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack/Iona College) was named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week after leaded the Setters to a 2-0 week. Williams averaged 21.5 points per game and seven rebounds, while shooting 58.8% from the field in wins over Southern Connecticut and Saint Rose.
Williams totaled 22 points on 11-for-15 shooting with four rebounds and five assists in an 83-62 win over Southern Connecticut on Wednesday. This past Saturday against St. Rose, Williams posted a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. He added two assists and two steals as he guided the Setters to a 73-63 win over the Golden Knights.
The Setters return to action on Tuesday, February 14 when Pace will travel to Garden City, NY for a Northeast-10 Conference game against Adelphi University at 7:30 pm.
