Key Communities Mentor

Key Mentors serve a dual role: Teaching Assistant for a Key Seminar class and leadership/mentorship to students. Key Mentors help increase student retention and academic performance of participants, encourage campus and community involvement, and promote diversity awareness. Key Mentors dedicate an academic year to the program. They spend roughly 300 hours mentoring students, 300 hours serving as a teaching assistant within the Key Seminar, and 120 hours training and preparing for their role.
