SPARTANBURG, SC (01/28/2010)(readMedia)-- Kirsten Michelle Grady, a senior at Westerville North High School, has been awarded an Anna Todd Wofford Scholarship at Wofford College.

Grady is a member of the class of 2014. Parents: Charles and Lisa Grady (667 Bay Drive, Westerville, Ohio, 43082).

Ninety percent of Wofford's enrolled students receive approximately $32 million in scholarships, grants and loans each year. Each of the endowed scholarships funds requires that recipients demonstrate outstanding character, academic achievement, and potential for contribution to society; some have additional requirements for eligibility.

The Anna Todd Wofford Scholarships were established in 1973 to honor the memory of the first wife of Benjamin Wofford, founder of the college. These scholarships are awarded annually to female students nominated by their high schools and selected by Wofford College as possessing outstanding qualities of scholarship, leadership and character.
