Kristin Leccese of Lyndhurst Recognized for Academic Achievement at University of Scranton Commencement

SCRANTON, PA (06/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Kristin Marie Leccese, Lyndhurst, N.J., was among the 65 students honored by The University of Scranton during its undergraduate Class Night ceremony. The Jesuit university awarded outstanding members of the Class of 2012 for academic achievement and service.

Leccese received the Excellence in Occupational Therapy Award. She earned a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, in occupational therapy with a minor in counseling and human services.

Leccese was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu, Alpha Epsilon Delta and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies. She was also a resident assistant, a Eucharistic minister and lector, an International Service Program participant and a member of the Students for Occupational Therapy Association.

Leccese will complete her master's degree in occupational therapy at The University and plans to pursue a career in physical rehabilitation and home health.

She graduated from Lacordaire High School, Upper Montclair, N.J.
