Kristina Barckley of Paso Robles honored
CLU student demonstrated leadership, service
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (05/15/2012)(readMedia)-- The California Lutheran University Student Affairs staff selected Kristina Barckley of Paso Robles as Student Life Senior Leader of the Year for demonstrating outstanding leadership and service and living out CLU's mission through her many roles on campus.
Barckley, who graduated cum laude with a degree in business administration on May 12, was a Presidential Host and a member of the New Student Orientation staff and the Alcohol and Other Drugs Task Force. She served as a senior resident assistant for two years and was a member of the NASPA student affairs association Undergraduate Fellowship Program.
CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks, with centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills for graduate courses and its Adult Degree Evening Program. With an enrollment of 4,100 students, CLU offers 37 undergraduate majors and graduate programs within the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Management and Graduate School of Education. Doctoral degrees in educational leadership, higher education leadership and clinical psychology are also offered.
