Kutztown University Inducts New Members into Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society

The Kutztown University Department of Criminal Justice inducted 18 new members into the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society.

Alpha Phi Sigma is the national criminal justice honor society. It was founded in 1942 at Washington State University and became affiliated with the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) in 1976. Today there are almost 300 Alpha Phi Sigma chapters around the country.

KU's Kappa Alpha chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma was established in Spring 2008 with 13 founding members.

To be eligible for membership, a student must be a criminal justice major or minor, have completed at least 40 credit hours, including at least four criminal justice courses, have an overall QPA of 3.2 or higher, and have a QPA in criminal justice courses of 3.2 or higher.
