Kutztown's Day Recognized as All-American after Strong 2025 Season

Junior defensive midfielder Maura Day of the Kutztown University women's soccer team was named to the All-America Third Team by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) for her stellar 2025 season.

Day was named as an All-American for the first time after completing a season where she picked up several regional and national honors. Her historic season led her to be named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Region honoree from the United Soccer Coaches and D2CCA.

The junior midfielder led the conference in assists with 10, tied for the third-highest mark in program history. Day was the engine behind Kutztown's attack, pacing the team as the bridge between the team's strong defense and its potent offense.

The third-year Golden Bear is the 11th All-American in program history, and one of just four individuals from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference honored by the D2CCA this season.

Day is set to return to Kutztown for her senior campaign in 2026, as she hopes to anchor a team that looks to improve on its 13-6-1 record and a deep playoff run from the 2025 campaign.
