LINCOLN'S CHALLENGE ACADEMY HOLDS CEREMONY TO HONOR TRANSITION FROM CANDIDATE TO CADET

• LCA will be hold its Class 47-16 Acclimation Graduation marking the change of status from LCA candidate to cadet.

WHEN:

• Sunday August 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.

WHERE:

• LCA Gymnasium, 118 Borman Drive, Rantoul, IL 61866

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• The ceremony is open to the public.

• The first two weeks of LCA, known as the acclimation period, are the most rigorous time for new arrivals of LCA. During this time some young people may feel that they are not well suited to this unique and challenging quasi-military program and choose to withdraw, but for many others LCA is a stepping stone towards their life goals.

• After the acclimation period, as cadets the students continue with the remaining 20 weeks of the program and take on the ChalleNGe.
