Lebanon Valley College Choir will perform Sunday, April 12 at 3 p.m. in the Miller Chapel.

ANNVILLE, PA (03/31/2015)(readMedia)-- The Lebanon Valley College Choir will perform Sunday, April 12 at 3 p.m. in the Miller Chapel. The performance is free and open to the public.

The concert features "Et in terra pax" from Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria"; "Alleluia" by Robert Muczynski; "The Winner Takes It All" and "Dancing Queen" by Abba; "Oh Freedom," a South African marching chant; "Musik der Nacht" by Johannes Brahms; "You are the New Day" and "Can't Buy Me Love" from The Kings' Singers' 25th Anniversary Jubilee; and "Sevenfold Amen" by Peter C. Lutkin.

Several choral selections by Stephen Sondheim also feature in the concert, including, "Comedy Tonight" from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; " Into the Woods" from Into the Woods; "Putting It Together" from Sunday in the Park with George; "Not While I'm Around" from Sweeney Todd; "Losing My Mind" from Follies; and three selections from Company.

The Lebanon Valley College Choir represents students from a variety of majors. Founded in 1991, the College Choir is one of the three choral organizations in LVC's Music Department. Dr. Michael Wojdylak '97, adjunct assistant professor of music, directs the choir.

Wojdylak is a 1977 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. After launching a career as a dentist, he earned a second bachelor's degree at LVC in music with a concentration in theory and composition. An accomplished tenor soloist, Wojdylak also teaches private voice lessons at the College.
