Nija Givens, Admissions Recruiter

DANVILLE , IL (09/19/2018) (readMedia)-- Lakeview College of Nursing recently hired Nija Givens, a Danville native, for the position of admissions recruiter.

Givens graduated from Danville High School in 2006 and from Illinois State University in 2010 with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees; one in Political Science with a focus on global studies and the other in Mass Communication/Media, with a focus on radio production. In 2012, Givens received her Master of Science in Communication from Illinois State University.

"I am extremely excited to be a member of the team here at Lakeview College of Nursing. The faculty and staff truly care about our students having a great program where they can become amazing nurses," said Givens. She added, "I am looking forward to assisting and meeting prospective students who are passionate about furthering their careers in nursing through admittance into our program and earning their BSN degrees."
