Laura Bayless Earns Higher Education Honors

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (04/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Laura Bayless, formerly of Kettering, Ohio and now dean of students at St. Mary's College of Maryland, has been chosen as assembly coordinator for commissions-elect of ACPA - College Student Educators International. Earlier this year, Bayless received the association's Senior Level Professional Award. Last year, she was honored as an ACPA "Diamond Honoree," recognizing her outstanding and sustained contributions to higher education and to student affairs.
St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
