Lauran G. Seitz receives Esther S. Knaub Scholarship
MILLERSVILLE, PA (04/28/2011)(readMedia)-- Lauran G. Seitz of Felton, Pa. has been selected to receive the 2011 Esther S. Knaub Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman at Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
Seitz will attend Millersville this fall and will major in Spanish and international studies. She completed a traditional college preparatory curriculum including Honors-level courses. She also completed nine credits at Penn State University while in high school. Seitz was involved in various activities including Student Government, Future for Agriculture, Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society and participated in the Model United Nations Assembly at the Congressional Youth Leadership Conference.
The Esther S. Knaub Scholarship is a renewable award of $1,000 per year to a York County student. It is a renewable award as long as the recipient maintains normal academic progress.
