Lauren Kelly Receives Two Ripon College Awards

RIPON, WI (05/04/2010)(readMedia)--  Lauren Kelly, a senior majoring in biology and English from Plymouth, Wis., was named the recipient of the 2010 Beta Beta Beta Award and the 2010 Mrs. John James Prize in Composition during a ceremony held April 21, 2010 at Ripon College.

 The Beta Beta Beta Award recognizes senior biology majors who have demonstrated the highest degree of excellence and initiative in biology classes. The award includes a letter of credit intended for the purchase of biology books.

 The Mrs. John James Prize in Composition recognizes a student who has done the most outstanding work in English composition.

Kelly is the daughter of Mr. Michael Kelly of New Holstein, Wis. and Mrs. Jayne Olig of Plymouth, Wis.
