Lauren Stuckel Named Missouri Baptist Spartan Athlete of the Week

ST. LOUIS, MO (09/13/2011)(readMedia)--  Missouri Baptist University named Belleville, Ill. native Lauren Stuckel at Athlete of the week on Tuesday.

The 5'10' setter is a graduate of Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville and has been one of the top performers for the Spartans this season. She ranks in the top 50 of all setters in the NAIA with an average of just below nine assists per match.

Last week, in a match against Lindenwood University, Stuckel recorded 26 assists and nine kills and was nominated for AMC Player of the Week honors.
